For much of its history, Australia has suffered from 'the tyranny of distance' but recently, the rise of China, India and other Asian economies has placed it at the centre of the most dynamic region of the world. Commodity exports are booming, but this may bring its own problems, as Geradlidine Dougue discussed on the ABC's 'Saturday Breakfast'.
