Alphabetic Apartments
The Avalon apartment block in Brisbane, Australia is a bit different to most. The 26 units are designated by letters of the alphabet, rather than numbers. It all adds to the character of this surreal and anachronistic residence, described in the new book Avalon: Art & Life of an Apartment Building and discussed on Saturday Breakfast.
